Kids taking over the High Street!
Sunday 6th July 2025
12 - 4.30pm
The High Street will be closed on 6th July and turned into a "kids’ zone". The town centre will come alive with activities for children, learning to do something, making something, participating in music or performing arts, being entertained, or competing.
Everything will be free!

With over 30 activities taking place, kids can come along and enjoy tennis. cricket, learn bushcraft skills. try some Middle-Eastern dancing, learn DJ skills and mix some tunes, splat the rat, join in with singing and more!
Local cafes, food outlets and bars will be open for food and drink throughout the day.

Stewards are needed to welcome visitors, provide information and assist with traffic management. Shifts will be of 2-3 hours.
