Tuesdays: The Men's Shed

Tuesdays: The Men's Shed

Every Tuesday

2pm - 4pm

The Men's Shed is a national organisation set up to provide men - mostly retired - with companionship and an opportunity to get involved in community projects. We do work in the community and recently cleared an overgrown pond at Ridgemede School, ten of us spent several hours cutting, lopping and shifting tons of brambles etc. Hard work but satisfying.  We are willing to consider other projects too, so please drop us a line if you need help.

We are in the process of setting up our 'shed' at the Bishops Waltham cricket ground and here we will have a workshop and lounge.  Apart from the projects in the community, we enjoy relaxing in our lounge, drinking tea/coffee and putting the world to rights.  We have a great mix of skills and backgrounds in our friendly group and we are always keen to recruit new members.

We invite anyone to drop in for a chat and a cup of tea and meet with the group.

Just turn up or for more information email Helen.mensshed@btinternet.com
